"I was compelled to write to you after seeing the 9:30 show on Saturday, Sept. 15th. It’s the second time I’ve been there (and certainly not the last), and I have to say, Café Wha? is one of my absolute favorite places in the city. I love the mix of comedy and music, and the house band is simply outstanding. Every person is incredibly talented and I just LOVE the repertoire. I can’t decide who’s the best because every time another person sings or has a mini-solo in the middle of the song I am amazed and I’ve just come to the conclusion that each person is as talented as the next. I can’t imagine a better place to hear such great live music, so thank you for providing it and for providing it at a price that I can afford – as a young professional, there aren’t many places that I would pay a cover charge to go to, and Café Wha? is one of the very few exceptions. Anyway, I just think it’s a great place with a phenomenal band and I just wanted to write to let everyone who works there know (I didn’t get a little green slip to fill out so I wanted to give my two cents now)."

"Just got back home to London after spending a week in New York, and would just like to especially thank you all for the two best nights I spent on my whole trip.I cannot recommend the Wha? enough to my friends who are travelling to NY in the Spring after describing it as simply the most vibrant,enjoyable and rockin' night they'll have in New York, bar none. The band were staggeringly good and the comedy/MC warm-up's were a nice touch too (although I didn't get all the material, me being a Limey!). Great acoustics, good food, fantastically intimate setting, and bloody good staff too. Hoping to come out to NY again this year, rest assured that I'll be stopping by!"

"I hope you remember me, lol.. this is Kelly and a group of friends and I were at your club last weekend!! We were from Ohio, and Shannon and I had coupons for free t-shirts and you gave everyone at our table one!! I just wanted to stop in and say Thank You and Thanks for the memories!! We all had a great time that night!! We really wanted to come back the following night but, some of us didn't feel to well the next day!! lol!! Also I was wondering if the house band had a cd out?? I keep trying to play it on my computer from your web site but, it doesn't work!! Well, thanks again for everything. Felipe was our host and he was outstanding!! Since I live close to Cleveland, which is the rock and roll hall of fame city, I have been to many clubs. By far yours was the best, hands down!! I loved the atmosphere, the entertainment and aura!! I came home to tell all of my friends how I wished there was some place around here that was similar to cafe wha?!! I do hope I get to come back again someday, but, until then, take care."

"Third time I have been...been at least a year in between each visit but always a great experience. This time I booked online in advance which proved very sucessful. Truly the best gig in town! Have told all my English friends to go and some will be over in June. Look forward to the next time!"
